Today I am celebrating two things! First it is my name day. In Greece most of the days in calendar are dedicated to a Saint. We, most of the times, take our names from Saints. Today Saint Catherine celebrates and so do I, since Katerina is the Greek name for Catherine! I made the Lemon Torte Di Lefkothea to treat every one of you! The recipe can be found here!

The second reason I am celebrating is because my blog has become 4 years old. For four years I have been sharing with you not only my kitchen adventures, but also parts and happenings of my life. During these four years, I’ve met some wonderful people and made friends from all over the world.

We’ve shared parts of our lives and beautiful recipes. I’ve learned about unknown customs and kitchens, I found out how people celebrate in different parts of the world and realized something that made me feel that earth is not such a big planet after all; no matter in which country we live, we have unbelievably many things in common!

And this makes me feel like I belong to a neighborhood, somewhat big of course, but a neighborhood nontheless!

For all these reasons I wanted to show my gratitude to you, who visit me here, spend time to my blog, listen to my thoughts and have always a good word for me and my doings! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all these beautiful comments you’ve left here all these years and thank you for supporting me and sharing your thoughts and life moments with me! Also a big thanks to all the people who do not leave comments, but still visit me here and spend time reading my posts!

For  all these reasons, today I am hosting a giveaway with small gifts that I am prepared to send anywhere in this earth!
