Rice with Vermicelli Noodles

- 1 cup rice
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 6 tbsp. dried vermicelli noodles
- 1 ½ cup boiling water
- Salt
- In a bowl add the rice and water to cover it and let it stay for 10 minutes.
- In a pot add the butter and in medium heat sauté the vermicelli until they become golden brown.
- Drain the rice and add it to the vermicelli and continue to sauté for one minute.
- Pour the water and add the salt, stir couple of times and turn the heat down to low.
- Cook for about 10 to 12 minutes without stirring or opening the lid.
- Turn the heat off.
- Let it stay for 5 minutes and then fluff with a fork.
