Chocolate Pie

- 120 gr. / 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
- 110 gr. / 4 oz. butter
- 4 eggs
- 150 gr. / 5.5 oz. granulated sugar
- 60 gr. / 2 oz. all purpose flour
- 15 gr. / 1 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tbsp Cointreau
- Melt the chocolate and the butter in the microwave.
- In your stand mixer add the eggs and sugar and whisk for one minute.
- Incorporate the melted chocolate.
- Add the flour and the cocoa shifted and the Cointreau.
- Take a spring form 20 cm. / 8 in. or a pan with diameter 20 cm. / 8 in.
- Butter it and flour it.
- Pour the batter and bake in a preheated oven at 200° for 12 to 15 minutes depending how dense you want the cake in the center.
- The less you bake it the more lava has inside it.
- Take it out of the oven and let it stand until it becomes cold.
- Unmold and serve.
- You can serve it with vanilla ice cream or caramel syrup.
