Yogurt Tart

Ingredients/ Συστατικά
  • 200 gr. / 7 oz. chocolate cookies, crumbled like in cheesecake (you can use any cookies you like I do not think it will change the end result)
  • 3 tbsp melted margarine
  • 2X200ml / 2X7 oz. strawberry yogurt
  • 200 ml / 7 oz. heavy cream
  • 4 chocolate cookies, crumbled
  • ½ tsp vanilla syrup or extract
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • Chocolate flakes for garnishing
Instructions/ Εκτέλεση
  1. Take a cheesecake pan around with 20cm / 8 in. diameter.
  2. Mix the crumbled cookies with the melted margarine.
  3. Put the paste to the pan and press so as to cover the bottom of the pan, just like you do in the cheesecake.
  4. Spread the strawberry yogurt above it.
  5. Now spread the 4 crumbled cookies.
  6. At this point if you have fresh strawberries by all means cut them in half and arrange them on top of the crumbled cookies.
  7. I, as you can understand, didn’t have any in my fridge, and so I went along with the pieces already existed in the yogurt.
  8. Whip the heavy cream with the vanilla syrup and the caster sugar until it becomes Chantilly.
  9. Spread this over the yogurt.
  10. Cover and put in the freezer, until your guests arrive, or if you do not expect anyone and just want it for yourself, as long as you can wait (even overnight would do).
  11. Take out of the freezer garnish with the chocolate flakes and serve.
  12. Practically you can use any garnish you like.
  13. I love chocolate and so I have no other choice as you can understand.
