Quick Meals Part 3: Balsamic Chicken Drumettes

- 12 chicken drumettes
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup brown sugar (I used Demerara)
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ tsp ginger
- ¼ tsp poultry seasoning
- 3 garlic cloves, halved
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Place the drumettes in aglass container or in a re-sealable plastic bag.
- Throw the marinade on the drumettes and let marinate for at least two hours.
- Turn on the broiler.
- Place the drumettes on a pan covered with parchment paper.
- Broil until they take a dark brown color.
- In the meantime, put the garlic cloves in the blender along with the marinade and whisk real good.
- Take a pot and poor the marinade.
- Bring to boil and then lower heat and let simmer for half an hour.
- If it hasn’t thicken by then, just add 1 tbsp of corn flour dissolved in 1 tbsp of water.
- Pour over chicken.
- I served it with basmati rice you can serve with whatever your heart desires.
