Add the dry ingredients to them and stir in slow speed for a minute until everything is incorporated.
If there are lumps that is fine, just let them live, they won’t cause any problems.
Let the mixture rest for half an hour and then preheat the waffle iron.
I have a waffle iron that makes waffles as four hearts the one next to the other, isn’t it romantic? Of course when I bought it I didn’t even know that, it was just on sales so I bought it.
Anyway, the quantity necessary for my waffle iron, so as to make these cute little hearts, is ½ cup of the batter.
You just let them take a nice golden brown color and remove them.
I placed them on my oven’s rack so as not to get soggy.
If you have any left which I pretty much doubt, you store them in the fridge and just half an hour before serving them again put them in a preheated oven at 175° C / 350° F for 5 minutes or until they become crispy again.
I made a chocolate ganache by heating the heavy cream just before it starts to boil and then pour it on the chocolate. Mix until the chocolate melts and serve over the waffles.
