Asian Chicken

Ingredients/ Συστατικά
  • 800 gr. / 28 oz. chicken breast, boneless, skinless
  • 6 white button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cm / 0.7 in. fresh ginger
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • ½ cup rice wine
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • Sesame oil
Instructions/ Εκτέλεση
  1. In a wok or a deep skillet add couple of tbsp. of sesame oil and sauté the chicken until is half done.
  2. Remove and keep warm
  3. In the same skillet pour couple more sesame oil and sauté all the vegetables, onion and garlic except the ginger.
  4. When they are soft and almost done pour all the ingredients for the sauce plus the sugar and mix.
  5. Let it cook for a minute or two in high heat adding the ginger grated and it’s done.
