Coconut Ice Cream with Chocolate Chunks

  • 230 gr. / 8 oz. cold whole milk
  • 150 gr. / 5.3 oz. sugar
  • 7 tbsp finely ground coconut
  • 100 gr. / 3.5 oz. Chocolate chips
  • 455 gr. / 16 oz. cold heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions/ Εκτέλεση
  1. Whisk together the milk, sugar and ground coconut until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla.
  3. Pour in ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's directions.
  4. Stir chocolate chips into soft ice cream, and either serve immediately or place it in a container and freeze for at least two hours.
  5. Take it out about 15-20 minutes before serving to be able to scoop and serve.
