When I saw the strawberries at the super market I knew I had to buy them. These are the first strawberries of the season. This means that spring is coming and after spring, finally summer. After we ate some of them plain with sugar, I thought to liven them up a little bit and add my favorite ingredient chocolate. So, what I did was, to melt 70 gr. of semi sweet chocolate with 60% cocoa in the microwave at high temperature for 1 1/2 minute and then dip each one of them in it. After that I put them on a baking sheet and let them cool. Although I have seen this recipe in many blogs and sites that was the first time I was making it and let me tell you, for a chocoholic like me, this is the ultimate way to eat strawberries. As far as the decoration is concerned, this is totally my son’s doing as he wanted to have an energetic role to this venture himself. I let him do it because I believe it is nice for the children to exercise their creativity.
