Chocolate Mocha Mousse.JPG

Η συνταγή και στα ελληνικά στο τέλος της ανάρτησης!

As I promised in my last post, I will present to you the second and final part of the love menu I prepared and this is devoted to the dessert. Although dessert always follows a complete meal, it is a very important component of a menu and should not be neglected or be inferior to the preceding dishes. In my opinion, it is the last impression a meal leaves and for this reason, it has to be something that will be remembered.

I wanted to make something impressive and tasty yet easy enough, following my motto that on that day the person who cooks must make simple yet elegant dishes that won’t exhaust her/him. So, I chose to make this Chocolate Mocha Mousse with Strawberries that can be made in no time and can be made from the previous day or at least 3 hours before serving. In this way the day of the dinner the only thing one has to do is to assemble and serve.

When I saw strawberries in the super market, I knew I had to make something that would include them. For some reason strawberries are connected to love and love desserts. Also, gave me the sense that spring is in the air and consequently summer will be here soon too. I know that my friends in US had and still experience a very tough winter. Although this year we had a very mild winter, I can’t wait for the summer to arrive. How about you?

February for most of you is connected to Valentine’s but  for us here in Greece this month is dedicated to carnival. Carnival comes from the ancient ages and god Dionysus and is celebrated for three weeks. But for all the customs and happenings regarding carnival, I will talk to you in my next posts.

So, let’s proceed and conclude this love meal with a dessert that will certainly impress and satisfy your loved ones.
